A walk in interview will be held on 29/07/2022 at 11.00 hrs. at Nagpur Veterinary
College, Seminary Hills, Nagpur-440006, Maharashtra for the post of Senior Research Fellow
(SRF) and one post of Attendant under ICMR project on "Pathogenomics and host pathogen
interactions of Brucella infection " funded by Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi
implemented at Nagpur Veterinary College, Seminary Hills, Nagpur (MS).
The post is purely temporary and co terminus with the project and involves field work as
well as laboratory work. Interested candidates having essential and desirable qualifications as per
the amended ICMR guidelines should report with application form and essential original
certificates/testimonials and also one set of Photostat copy of the documents to this institute as
per the specified time and date.

Qualification
Post Graduate degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree
in Professional course selected through a process described through any one
of the following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIRUGC, NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and
GATe
b. The selection process through National level examinations
conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies
and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD,
ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
c. Two years research experience.
Desirable
Qualification
Having additional research/work experience and training in microbial
sampling, processing, isolation, cell culture studies, animal studies and
molecular techniques.
Knowledge of computer applications and data
management. Good documentation and communication skills
Upper age limit 35 years (Relaxed age limit by two years in case of women candidate) (as per
ICMR office memorandum no. 16/139/2014- Admin II dated 30.11.2018

Emoluments
Rs.35000/- + HRA (16 %) viz, Rs.40,600/- per month
No other allowances will be paid.
