IARI New Delhi Pathology/Biochemistry Project Openings

Applications are invited to attend interview (in-person) will be held for recruitment of the two positions of JRF and one SRF/Project Associate-I in the Division of Plant Pathology purely on contractual basis under DBT funded NBPGR-IARI collaborative research project “Leveraging genetic resources for accelerated genetic improvement of Linseed using comprehensive genomics and phenotyping approaches” (upto Feb 2025) and DBT funded Indo-UK collaborative research project (upto March 2023). 

The positions are of temporary nature and co-terminus with the project. The eligible candidates are requested to bring their application in the enclosed proforma along with photocopy of the original documents alongwith at the time of interview and/or also sent email to laxmanprasad25@yahoo.com before November 08, 2022. 

Original documents of the candidates appearing interview in-person will be verified before interview. 

JRF 

Rs. 31000 p.m. +24% HRA 

Indo-UK collaborative project. Genomics-led improvement of biotic and abiotic stress tolerance in mustard rape for economic and environmental sustainability 

i. Post graduate degree in basic science or in professional courses (Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/Genetics or other related fields of plant sciences) and must be qualified NET as per norms given in DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z08/2018 dated 30-01-2019 and O.M.No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10-8- 2020. 

ii. Desirable experience in pathological and biochemical techniques. 

Project Associate-I /JRF 

Rs. 31000 pm +24% HRA and Rs35000/ + 24%HRA from 3 rd year (for NET qualified) or 25000pm+24% HRA for Non-NET)

Leveraging genetic resources for accelerated genetic improvement of Linseed using……. approaches. Post graduate degree in basic science or post graduate degree in professional courses (Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/Genetics/ Botany or other related fields of plant sciences) (DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z05/2019 dated 21-08-2019) and O.M. No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10-8-2020).
