Walk-in-Interview will be held on August 01, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. in the Seminar Room of Department
of Biological Sciences, Unified Academic Campus, Bose Institute, Block - EN, Sector – V, Plot No.-80,
Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 091 for one (01) position of Project Associate-I in the SERB sponsored project
entitled “Molecular characterization of factor(s) regulating transcription of MYB21 and MYB24 genes in
Jasmonic acid signaling pathway during pollen development” under the guidance of Prof. Shubho Chaudhuri,
Department of Biological Sciences. The project is tenable upto 27.06.2026 and the position is coterminous with
the project.
Details of qualification, monthly Emoluments, age etc. are as follows :
Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Botany / Biotechnology/ Life Science from a recognized
University.
Desirable Qualification : Experience in Plant Molecular Biology / CSIR-UGC NET-JRF or NET-LS /
GATE.
Monthly Emoluments : (1) Rs.31,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for CSIR-UGC NET-JRF
or NET-LS / GATE
(2) Rs.25,000/- p.m., plus admissible HRA for others who do not falls
under (1).
Age Limit : Below 35 years.
(relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates only, as per rule).
Duration of the post : The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
The
appointment will be given initially for one year, which is extendable based on satisfactory performance.
