A walk-in interview has been scheduled to be held at Division of Pathology, ICAR-IVRI,
Izatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh on 21.08.2023 at 10:30 AM onwards for engagement of one
“Junior Research Fellow”. The engagement is purely temporary on contractual basis and coterminus with the project. No separate letter shall be issued for appearing in the interview.
SERB-DST funded Project ‘Molecular characterization of small ruminant
lentiviruses (SRLVs) and development of multiple antigenic construct based diagnostics for
SRLVs using computational biology tools’.
Educational Qualification: Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with
three years Bachelor’s Degree and two years Master’s degree should have NET qualification as
mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z09/2018 of' DST dated 30.01.2019.
Candidates with PhD or
Master degree in relevant subject (Veterinary Pathology/ Veterinary Microbiology/ Animal
biotechnology) with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
Desirable Experience: Experience in molecular biology techniques, PCR, analysis of gene
sequence, cloning, expression, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, Protein purification, IHC,
histopathology.
Remuneration: Rs 31,000/- P.M. plus HRA as per OM SR/S9/Z-09/2018 of' DST dated
30.01.2019
Duration of the Project: Likely up to February, 2026
Age: Maximum 30 years for male and 35 years for female candidates as on date of interview.
Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/women candidate(s) will be as per the GoI norms.
