Walk-in-Interview for the Position of Research Assistant
A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 01.07.2025, at 10.30 Hrs in the Department of Environmental
Science, Berhampur University, Berhampur - 760007 (Odisha), for the appointment of Three Research
Assistants in the ICSSR sponsored Collaborative Longitudinal Research Project (ICSSR -LSS –HWС).
The details of the position are as under:
1. Title of the Project: Intervention Models for Socio-Ecological Reconciliation of HumanWildlife Conflicts in the Eastern Ghats in Odisha
2. Position Name (No.): Research Assistant (Three - 03)
3. Tenure: Initially 03 Years, extendable till completion of the project (co-terminus with
project).
4. Emoulment: Rs. 37,000/- pm (fixed) as per the ICSSR guidelines.
5. Qualifications: P.G. (with a minimum of 55% marks) / M.Phil. / Ph.D. in Environmental
Science / Wildlife Science/ Biodiversity Conservation/ Anthropology / other subjects relevant
to the research area of the Project or any relevant Social Science discipline (as per ICSSR
guidelines). National Eligibility Test (NET) qualifications, experience in extensive fieldwork,
RS-GIS and computational tools will be an added advantage.

certificates on the scheduled date and time. Original certificates and mark sheets should be
