We’re hiring “Project Technical Support-III” for ICMR-funded project - “A cost-effective & minimally invasive liquid biopsy: Utilizing fine-needle aspiration supernatants for molecular profiling & precision oncology in lung cancer diagnosis.” (Ref. No.: IIRPSG-2025-01-01464)
PI/Supervisor: Dr. Akhileshwar Namani, Scientist & PI, Department of Molecular Oncology, SSCF
Nature of Post & Duration: Temporary - Initially for 1 year, likely to be extended based on performance.
Project Duration: 3 years
Eligible Candidates: Postgraduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences. B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology or M.Tech in Biotechnology or related disciplines are also eligible.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in molecular diagnostics, NGS workflows & bioinformatics skills.
Maximum age limit: 35 years
Monthly Emoluments (As Per ICMR norms): ₹28,000/- + 30% HRA (Total ₹36,400/-)

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to register for a Ph.D. at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) under the Sri Shankara National Centre for Cancer Prevention & Research (SSNCCPR–MAHE) Ph.D. program, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria of the university.
The selected candidate will work closely with the clinical & research teams at Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (SSCHRC), Bengaluru.
