CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow is a constituent laboratory of
Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). This institute undertakes basic and applied
research in important areas of plant sciences.
Eligible & interested candidates are invited for walk-in interview for the purely temporary
position in the following area under the sponsored project tenable at CSIR-NBRI:

(PAT-I)
M.Sc. in Botany/Plant
Sciences from a
recognized University
Experience in plant survey,
collection and
documentation/Taxonomy of
Angiosperms/Botanical
Nomenclature/knowledge of
molecular markers and their
applications.
35 years
(a) Rs. 37,000/-+ HRA for those
candidates who have qualified CSIRUGC / ICAR / ICMR NET incl.
lectureship / assistant professorship or
GATE
OR
those who have qualified National
level examinations conducted by
Central Government Departments like
DBT/ DST or equivalent and / or their
Agencies/ Institutions.
(b) Rs. 30,000/- + HRA for other who
do not fall under (a) above. *
