Eligible candidates may appear in Walk-In-Interview for the post of Senior Research Fellow for the project listed below:
Senior Research Fellow (1)
Project “Construction of a novel insecticidal cry gene of Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) for enhanced pod borer (Helicoverpa armigera) resistance in transgenic crops”
Emoluments fixed per month Rs. 14000+HRA
Essential Qualifications
M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related subjects
Desirable Qualifications
Research experience in gene cloning and genetic transformation of crops.
Knowledge of computer applications
Age Limit: 35 years max. (5 years for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per ICAR rules)
The post is purely temporary in nature and is co-terminus with the project. The interview will be held on Saturday, 1st November, 2008 at 10.00 AM at NRCPB, Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre, IARI, New Delhi-110012. The candidates must bring five copies of bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of each of the certificates and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph.
