Hope u guys had a good time with weekend CSIR-JRF exam.

We get a lot of emails regarding how to prepare JRF-NET exam. Some info already posted on ur favorite helpBIOTECH under help CSIR-JRF (sites & Coaching centres).

Can anybody suggest

Study materials or
Good coaching centers or
EBooks or
Downloadable materials (websites) for fellow readers.

    hi all,
    be thorough with the geological time scale....almost all the question papers that i appeared had a question regarding this..like the period of origin of any animal..this december question did have a 12 mark question giving an animal and v r asked to mention the period of origin
    and mod eof action of antibiotics too is very very imporatant

    There are good coaching institutes in Delhi, but I feel its only about regularity, consistency and regular discussions on particular topics with fellow aspirants that matters for clearing NET-JRF.
    these institutes only help in developing the above mentioned triats if one cannot do it on his/her own.

    Well, there is Gyan Bindu Academy and Helix and recently Pathfinder has also released its test-series which would help for NET-JRF.

    can anybody who has already qualified CSIT-NET give slightest idea as to how many month's serious study is required to crack through the exam for a student who is into normal course of studies for last 4 yrs(3yrs grads+1yr msc).i want to mean what should be the ideal preperation time??

    It depends upon your depth in subjects. I believe may be 6 months or less enough to really give a go

Also find a lot of research papers for IEEE, IAS, CDS, Public Administration Pre and Main for free download. Do check it out...........

    i cleared it two times during ma MSc, in my opinion its very simple exam which needs follwing
    -brush up ur basics like ecolog nd evolution, physiology which u hav studied in ur intermediate
    -build concepts mainly in mol. biology, immunology , recombinant DNA technology ,nd genetics
    that much is sufficientfor ds dammn exam-
    i wl tell d books which i studied voet nd voet, kubey ,benjamin pierce or snustard, reece nd primrose..........in last
    jst gt cool nd prepare well
