Walk In Interview - 23rd December 2009 between 9:00 to12:00 hrs.

Project Entitled:-
I) Studies on Chikungunya Virus: Vector virus interactions, development of diagnostics, vaccines and Prophylactics.

Research Scientist - I @ Rs 15, 760/- +15%HRA (Under Revision)

Essential Qualifications First class Master’s Degree in Life/Biological Sciences or relevant biological subjects from a recognized University or equivalent. OR

Second class Master’s Degree in Life/Biological Sciences or relevant biological discipline subjects with PhD degree from a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications

(i) Doctorate Degree in Life/Biological Sciences or MD in the related subject for candidates with first class relevant degree.

(ii)Three years research/ teaching experience in related discipline.

(iii) Knowledge of computer applications.

(iv) Knowledge of Molecular techniques will be preferred.

II) MCC-Fulminant Hepatitis-E: Association with Cytokine Polymorphism and viral sequence variation.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF) @ Rs.14000/-p.m.+ HRA as admissible

Essential Qualifications MSc (Life Sciences), Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Zoology, Masters degree holders with two years research experience or M.V.Sc/MBBS / MTech.

Desirable Qualifications
(i) Laboratory Experience in/Molecular Virology /Biology and Immunology, Cell Culture.
(ii) Preference will be given to those qualified ICMR/UGC/CSIR JRF
(iii) Knowledge of computer applications.

III) Immunogenetic profiling of dengue infected patients from Pune, Maharashtra.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) @ Rs.12000/-p.m.+ HRA as admissible

Essential Qualifications M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences who have qualified in the CSIR/UGC/ICMR National Entrance Test (NET) or equivalent
examination and have a valid certificate.

Desirable Qualifications Experience in Molecular Immunology techniques. Knowledge of Computer Applications
