Summer Workshop on Bioprocess Technology

About the Workshop
Biochemical engineers design biological systems for environmental remediation, engineer improvements to pharmaceuticals, industrial enzymes, agro chemicals, food processing, bioenergy/biorefinery, specialty chemicals, biomaterials and fermentation industries and work in other areas that combine biochemistry, microbiology, and chemical engineering. They have to be aware of Microbiology, Metabolism and Bioenergetics, Function of cell, Kinetics of enzymatic reactions, Kinetics of cell growth and product formation, Transport phenomena in bioprocess systems, Bioreactors and scale up, Downstream processing, and Recombinant DNA technology.
