Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements include strong technical experience in the field of proteomics (e.g., 2D gels, MS, peptide mapping, etc). A Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related field with experience in proteomics is necessary, with strong preference for individuals having experience in the product development of research tools for the biological sciences. Protein separation experience highly desirable (chromatography). This position would require skills in laboratory and analytical methods, the management of core scientific development plans, product development planning processes, team planning, and management of collaborative multi-site or co-development milestones.

Job Description

•Develop protocols, methods, and applications for the evolving field of proteomics.

•Ensure that projects are completed according to schedule and priority. Participate in allocating scientific and engineering resources to support the BioSciences business (proteomics, protein separation, etc).

•Participate as a scientific technical support person answering incoming calls from our global customers. This may require working swing shifts.

•Consult with other Technology leaders in Pall’s various research and development teams to maximize and leverage existing technology investment across the corporate technology base.
