WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 6th September, 2010 at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following post on the ad hoc research project entitled “Biomedical Informatics Centre of ICMR” at this Institute. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under:
I. Scientist “B”- 1 No (OBC)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : Ph.D in Life Science with research experience in molecular biology and Bioinformatics (OR)
First Class M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences with at least 3 years research experience and 2 years of research experience in Bio-informatics (OR)
M.Tech. in Bio-informatics with B.Tech in Biotechnology/ Bio-informatics and 1 year research experience in Bio-informatics
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Exposure to different software’s used in protein and DNA analyses as evident from peer reviewed publications in relevant area.
Job Requirement: The incumbent will be required to initiate research activities in the areas of bioinformatics at the Centre, should assist scientist in the Institute in using bioinformatics tools in the research activities. The incumbent will be required to analyze the research data generated by the Institute and design data bases using the research data.
AGE : 38 years (Relaxed upper age limit by two years in case of woman candidates)
CONSOLIDATED SALARY : Rs.18,960 p.m. + 30% H.R.A.
TENURE : One year
