CSIR sponsored project Role of Thyroid Hormone in Neuroprotection : An Experimental Study in Adult Rat Cerebral Cortex under the guidance of Prof. Arun Kumar Ray, CSIR Emeritus Scientist, Division of Molecular Medicine.

The project is tenable upto 31st August 2012.

Essential Qualification: Ph. D. degree in Life Sciences for RA position. Candidates who have submitted their Ph. D. thesis may also apply for Extended SRF position.

Desirable Qualification : Experience in techniques of immunoblotting, flow-cytometry, cell signaling, etc., along with knowledge in proper handling of animals with care.

Associateship / Fellowship : Rs. 22,000/- p.m. for RA / Rs. 20,000/- p.m. for Extended SRF, plus admissible HRA and Medical benefit.

Age : Below 35 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
