Walk-in-Interview
A Walk-in-Interview for the following contractual position as detailed below will be held on 28th June, 2013 at 10.30 A.M. in the Institute Premises.
Research Associate
Post in Biodegradable electrospun fibre mat for use in packaging of fresh perishable agricultural material sponsered by NFBSFARA
Essential : Ph.D. degree in Chemistry/Physics/ Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/Mechanical Engg./Textile Manufacturing/Electronics & Instrumentation or any relevant basic science or engineering
OR
Master’s degree in the above mentioned subject with 1st class/ 60% marks with 2 years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/
other engagements
Desirable: Publication in relevant areas of research. NET/GATE qualification desirable.
Rs. 24000/- p.m plus H.R.A. (for Ph.D.holders) Rs.23,000/- p.m. plus H.R.A.(for Masters degree holder)
Up to 31st March, 2015
Or till termination/completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the scheme.
Notes :
1. Place of posting :- CIRCOT, Mumbai
2. Age limit :- Maximum age limit for 40 years (men) and 45 years for women.
3. For SC/ST/OBC candidate’s age limit is as per Govt. of India norms. Such candidates claiming relaxation in age should produce the caste certificate from the Competent Authority.
3. Candidates who are employed in govt.-organization should produce No objection Certificate from the Employer.
4. Positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption either in this Institute or ICAR.
5. No. T.A./D.A. will be paid for attending the Interview.
6. Candidates may appear for walk-in-interview with bio-data, photographs and original testimonials, with one set of Xerox copies.

Senior Research Fellow
Post in the project entitled, "Biodegradable electrospun fibre mat for use in packaging of fresh perishable agricultural material sponsored by NFBSFARA "
Essential: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Microbiology/Biotechnology OR M.Tech.in Electrical Engineering./Mechanical Engineering/Textile Manufacturing/Electronics & Instrumentation.
Desirable: Knowledge in design and fabrication of machine parts, exposure to basic mechanical design CAD operations
Rs.16,000/- p.m. plus H.R.A. as admissible under the rule
Up to 31st March, 2015
