"Walk-in-Interview" is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, the 26th June, 2013 at 9:00 A.M. at this Institute for preparation of select panel of candidates for 01 tentative position of Sr. Project Fellow(s) under the Project "Centre for High Altitude Biology (CeHAB)" on purely temporary basis for the duration of the project which will be coterminus with the duration of the project. The person will be stationed at Ribling (Lahaul & Spiti) H.P.).Preference will be given to the candidate(s) familiar and experienced in living at high altitude region.

Stipend: Rs.18,000/- P.M.Consolidated plus HRA as admissible under Council
rules.
Educational Qualifications: M.Sc.in Biotechnology with at least 55% marks & one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed at least 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience in Plant Tissue Culture.
Job Requirement: To independently establish tissue culture lab and raise micropropagated plants of Oactylorhiza hatagirea, Picrorhiza kurroa, Crocus sativus etc. and microbial cultures.

Age : For Sr. Project Fellow(s) : 32 Years as on 26.06.2013.
Age Relaxation : 5 years for SC/ST,3 years for OBC and widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and who are not remarried are allowed age concession up to the age of 35 years,(Up to 40 years for members of SC/STs). No other women are entitled for such relaxation.
The number of positions as advertised may vary depending upon the suitability of candidates and assess needs of the candidates in the relevant project.
