Following posts are to be filled up on a purely temporary basis, in NIH funded project Center for the Study of Complex Malaria in India.

1. Scientist B (one post)

Essential Qualifications: M Sc with first division and Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences

Desirable: Three years of post-doctoral research experience in Molecular Biology/Genetics. Candidates with high quality research publications in molecular biology in high-impact peer reviewed journals preferably on malaria parasites and knowledge of next-generation sequencing technologies.

Age: Up to 35 years

Emoluments: Rs. 44,100/- P.M. consolidated

2. Research Assistant (one post)

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Sciences.

Desirable: Research experience in molecular biology of preferably in field of malaria

Age: Up to 30 years

Emoluments: Rs. 24,300/- P.M. consolidated

3. Senior Research Fellow (One post)

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences with two years research experience in molecular entomology and handling of mosquitoes.

Desirable: Good Computer skills and experience with MS office, Internet.

Age: Up to 35 years

Emoluments: Rs. 18000.00 + 30% HRA (as per ICMR rules)

Age limit: Age relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per central Govt rules/orders for possessing experience in Govt./Autonomous Bodies. Candidates working in long term projects in ICMR and its Institutes/Centres shall be given one time age relaxation up to five years for the post advertised.

General:

Duration: 1) The incumbent would be engaged initially for one year but the period of engagement may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority.

2) NOC is necessary in the case of person serving in Central/State Govt/Autonomous Bodies/PSU.

Interested and eligible candidates may walk in for interview on 12th November, 2013 at National Institute of Malaria Research (ICMR), Sector-8, Dwarka, New Delhi-110077 along with passport size photo, bio-data with the photocopy of the testimonials and also originals for verification, NOC from employer if employed. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. Candidates for Scientist B and SRF should report between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Reporting time for candidates for Research Assistant is between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM.
