Applications are invited by the Head, Division Seed Science and Technology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi 110012 for filling up one post of Project Assistant (PA) and two posts of Field Assistant (FA) purely on temporary basis in an ongoing DST funded project, 'Development of eco-friendly seed treatment technologies for successful plant establishment under less favorable environments' was to terminate on 11.09.2014 has been extended for 6 more months. The eligible candidates, who are willing to learn, may apply on plain paper within 15 days from the date of advertisement on the website along with complete bio-data, giving full particulars (as per Annexure-I). The eligible candidates may appear for the walk-in-interview on 30th July, 2014 at 2:30PM. Applicants are requested to read the advertisement carefully before sending the applications. Essential: Graduate in any branch of Biological Sciences with good academic record.
Desirable: Hands on experience of working on seed/planting materials and or in experimental/agri-horticultural fields/laboratory and Proficiency in computer operation. Prepared to take up tours to tribal areas.
Nature of Job Help in preparation of seed samples for conducting lab and field experiments, data recording and conduct of demonstrations and trainings in tribal areas.
Age Limit as on 30.07.2014 35 years
