Applications are invited for the post of JRF in a DBT-Twinning project entitled “Bioprospecting of Lactic Cultures from North-Eastern Region to Develop Functional Fermented Soya Foods with Potential Health Benefits” under Dr. B. K. Mishra, Department of RDAP, North-Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus, Meghalaya in collaboration with ANAND Agricultural University, ANAND, Gujarat. The Posts is purely temporary and terminable at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason thereof. The person engaged, shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for permanent absorption in the University. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on.

Duration: 1 year Extendable up to 3 years.
Qualification: M.Sc. / M. Tech in Microbiology/Food/Dairy/ Industrial Microbiology/
Biotechnology / Microbial Food Technology with minimum 55% marks.
The emoluments will be paid as per DBT norms.
Age limit: 30 year for Men and 35 years for Women in case of JRF on the date of Interview.
Desirous candidates may appear for a walk-in interview on 24th February, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Department of RDAP, NEHU, Tura Campus, Tura, Meghalaya.
