A walk in interview will be held on 16th April, 2015 at 11:30 am in the room of the Head, Department of Botany, University of Calcutta, 35 Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata 700019 for appointment of a SRF in a major project entitled "Assessment of the molecular mechanism behind the anticancer effect of two new triterpenes from mushrooms on hepatocellular carcinoma cells", sanctioned by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of West Bengal under supervision of Prof Krishnendu Acharya of Department of Botany, University of Calcutta.

Qualification: M.Sc. with two years of research experience in any stream of Life Sciences or -M.Tech. in Biotechnology.

Fellowship: 1 8,700/- (Consolidated)

Tenure: 3 years.

The post is purely temporary and co- terminus with the project. Candidates should submit two sets of complete applications furnishing Bio-data on plain paper attached with self - attested copy of testimonials and all the originals of the testimonials at the time of walk - in interview.

No TA/DA will be provided.
