Research Vacancies
Vacancies of two of Research associate (RA) and two Senior Research Fellow (SRF ) are to be filled as per the ICAR guidelines on temporary contractual basis in the plan project “Establishment of Center on Environmental Studies” (B.H.12950) running at Department of Natural Resource Management, College of Forestry, NAU, Navsari.
A. Research Associate
i Ph.D. in plant (or crop) Physiology / Forestry or 40,000/- + HRA
ii Master degree in plant (or crop) Physiology / Forestry with 4/5 years Bachelors degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with at least 2 years of research experience of Fellowship/Associate ship / Trainings / other engagements
B. Senior Research Fellow
i Ph.D. / Masters degree in relevant subject as mentioned in S.No1 with 4/5 years Bachelors degree
38,000/- + HRA
25,000/- + HRA Ist + II Year
28,000/- + HRA III Year onwards
4 Age Limit : 35 years for men and 40 years for women
5 Job Profile : Conduct studies by collecting field and laboratory data, data analysis, preparation of results and interpretations. Incumbent could be asked to take up studies within and outside NAU, Navsari campus and even in Forest areas of south Gujarat.
6 Preference : Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in studies related to environment and climate change on Agriculture as well to those who could work on Remote Sensing and GIS software’s.
