1. Name of the project: “Validation of indigenously developed technologies for
diagnosis of paediatric Tuberculosis: Multicentric validation” (funded by ITRC-Tata
Trust)

Essential qualification Master’s degree in Life Science or M-Tech in Biotechnology with one
year research experience in the related field.
Desirable qualification Experience in handling Mtb cultures
Age limit Not exceeding 40 years.
Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs.28,000/- + HRA Rs. 6,720/- 6 M,875/-p
Nature of Duties Scientific research, field visits, data compilation and preparing reports,
literature review, paper writing etc.

Nature of Duties To carry out LAMP evaluation on clinical samples and decontamination of
samples for smear, mycobacterial culture, DNA extraction and perform the
LAMP assay for the evaluation work
