Tezpur University Microbial Biotechnology Project Walk IN

A walk-in-interview will be held at 11.00 a.m. on 7th September 2018 for two temporary positions of Project Fellow in the UGC-SAP (DRS-II) project in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University with thrust area Microbial Biotechnology. 

Qualifications: M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences/Biosciences & Bioinformatics/ Microbiology/Molecular Biology & Biotechnology with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA. 

Desirable: (i) candidates having research experience in microbial biotechnology will be given preference. (ii) candidates with qualifying in national level tests such as NET, GATE. 

Fellowship: Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees sixteen thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month will be applicable to NET/GATE/GPAT qualified candidates. Rs. 14,000/- (Rupees fourteen thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month for non-NET/GATE/GPAT candidates. 

Age: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Government of India rules. 

Duration: The appointment shall be initially for six (06) months, which may be extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent in the project. 

Venue: Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University, Napaam – 784 028, Tezpur, Assam. 

Interested candidates may appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), certificate of NET/GATE/GPAT, research article publications (if any), any other testimonials and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview.
