REQUIRES For a DBT Project entitled “The Role of NMDA and Dopamine receptors in the Spinal Pain Pathways” (P-8118) 

Junior Research Fellow 

Qualification (Essential) : M.Sc. in Lifesciences (Neuroscience/Biochemistry/Physiology/ Biotechnology/ Zoology etc.) with NET Experience 

(Desirable) : Skills in dissecting rodent brain/spinal cord & sectioning for electrophysiology / immunohistochemistry. Good animal handling skills (Rodents). Good knowledge in Neurobiology 

Job Description : The project investigates the role of NMDA and dopamine receptors in the spinal cord pain pathways. After dissecting the rodent spinal cord, will do whole cell patch clamp recordings and immunohistochemistry to study the pain pathways. 

Monthly emoluments : Rs. 25,000/- + 20% HRA 

Age limit as on 30.09.2018 : 35 years
