WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Venue: CIFT, Cochin                                                                                                                          Time: 10 A.M. 

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a Walk-In-Interview with all relevant documents for the position of 2 (two) Young Professional-I (YP-I) on contractual basis to carry out the routine analytical work and up keeping of all high cost equipments and documents in the National Referral laboratory , CIFT, Cochin.  The duration of engagement/work will be for one year.  

Young Professional – I  (2- Posts)

Emoluments:
Rs.15,000/- p.m.(Consolidated)
Qualification:
  1. BSc Chemistry  
    Desirable: Experience in analytical chemistry especially 
  2. in determination of contaminants & residubs.
  3. BSc Microbiology  
    Desirable: Experience in testing of pathogens of public 
  4. health significance.

Selection will be based on a preliminary screening followed by interview.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of interview.
  2. Registration will begin at 9.00 am and closed at 11.00 am.
  3. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible.
  4. Candidate should possess 1st class or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA   
  5. Candidates are required to submit self-attested copies of all Certificates in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/OBC etc.   The original certificate shall be produced for verification before the interview.
  6. Candidates should bring detailed bio-data (in the enclosed format) affixing a recent passport size photograph and thesis/project report and publications.
  7. The selected candidates will be recruited on contract basis under ICAR norms.  The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.
  8. The candidates attending the interview should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions.  No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for selection/test/appointment.
  9. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
  10. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post
  11. The Directors decision will be final and binding in all respects.
