The ICMR-Vector Control Research Centre (ICMR-VCRC), Puducherry is a Permanent Institute of Indian Council of Medical Research, an autonomous organization under the
Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, invites applications upto 08.04.2019 for filling up the following vacancies in ICMR-VCRC,
Puducherry and its Field Stations in different parts of the Country on All India Service Liability;
1 Scientist-B (Entomology) A Level 10 of Pay Matrix; ` 56,100 - 1,77,500 2 (Two) ST-1; OBC-1
1) 1st class Master’s degree in Zoology / Medical Entomology / Public Health Entomology or equivalent degree from a recognized University (or)
2) 2nd class Master’s degree + Ph.D in Zoology / Medical Entomology / Public Health Entomology from a recognized University 1) Doctorate in Zoology / Medical Entomology / Public Health Entomology from a recognized University for candidates with first class Master degree.
2) Additional Post doctoral research / teaching experience in subjects related to vector borne diseases and their control in recognized Institute(s).
3) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Biostatistics / Data Management.
4) Two years R&D / Teaching experience in Zoology/ Medical Entomology / Public Health Entomology after obtaining essential qualification. Not exceeding 35 years
