PAU Molecular Biology SRF Walk IN 2019 August

Applications are invited on prescribed form (available in the offices of undersigned, and at PAU in School of Agricultural Biotechnology and Dept. of Fruit Science) for one position of Senior Research Fellow provided in the NAE scheme – ‘Genetic Improvement of Kinnow Mandarin for Fruit quality, Biotic and Abiotic stress Tolerance, ICAR 79 (PC-2357)’ at RRS, Abohar. The SRF will be appointed on contractual basis in the scale of Rs. 25,000/- + HRA, which is revisable to Rs. 28,000/- + HRA after two years of experience. The appointment will be for an initial period of six months or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The requisite educational qualifications for these positions are as follows:
Educational qualifications:
  1. B. Sc. (Agri.)/ B.Sc. with minimum OCPA 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks.
  2. M.Sc. in any branch of Agricultural science/Life Science with minimum OCPA 6.5/10.00 or 65% marks.
Note I: The candidate, who does not possess Master’s degree in the relevant subject but possesses Ph.D. degree in the discipline required at Master’s level, shall be eligible for the post.
Note II: Preference will be given to candidates with M.Sc./ Ph.D. in Biotechnology.

The application form for the post may be obtained after depositing a bank draft for Rs. 200/- issued in favour of Comptroller, PAU payable at Abohar on any working day between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. The last date for the receipt of duly completed applications is 09.09.2019. The incomplete applications or unsupported by requisite documents will not be entertained. The interview will be held on 10.09.2019 at 11:30 am in Dept. of Fruit Science, PAU, Ludhiana. The candidate should bring original certificates at the time of interview. No separate letter will be issued for the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The services of the incumbent are liable to be terminated without any prior notice.
