Walk-in-Interview for various Technical Posts on contractual basis for In-house Laboratory at NFDB, Hyderabad 

The objective of setting up the In-house laboratory is for testing diseases of importance in aquaculture and to test the presence of pesticide and antibiotic residue in aqua products. The major equipment are PCR and RT PCR for Pathogen detection of OIE identified diseases and LCMSMS, GCMSMS and ICPMS for pesticide and residue testing and also Sanger sequencing for Ribo-typing of Microbes and DNA bar-coding of Aquatic resources and detection of adulteration in the consumer products. The in house lab will also train the trainers and set standards in testing. Under these circumstances the following personnel are required to run the laboratory as desired, as well as to obtain NABL accreditation in the immediate future. 

1 CTO- Chief Technical Officer (Labs) 

Ph.D in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology / Bio -Technology) 


Minimum 15 years expertise in the National or state reputed laboratory. 

Preferably worked in Aqua testing laboratory 

2 Lab Managers 

Ph. D/M.Sc in Life Sciences 


10 years expertise in the reputed NABL laboratory with PCR, RTPCR and Sanger Sequencing and Microbiology lab A Molecular & Microbiology 

3 Senior Technical Officers- Molecular Biology

Ph. D/M.Sc in Life Sciences 


Minimum 2 years expertise in NABL aqua testing laboratory with PCR / RTPCR experience 

5 Junior Technical Officers

MSc Life Sciences


2 years’ experience preferably in Molecular Biology Microbiology lab operation

6 Lab Assistants (Technical/ Non-Technical) 

BSc Life Sciences


2 years’ experience preferably in lab operation

Walk-in-Interview will be held on 16-09-2019 for the Posts of Sl.No. 1 to 4 & Sl.No.5 to 8 on 17-09-2019 at NFDB Office from 11:00 AM
