A walk-in-interview will be held in the Division of Plant Physiology, ICAR-IARI New Delhi to fill the
temporary positions in the externally funded projects purely on contractual basis. The details of the posts are as

1. Research
Associate -II
(DBT Project: ‘SiteDirected Mutagenesis

Essential:
1) Ph.D. degree or having 3 years of
research experience after M.Sc. in any
of the discipline Biotechnology/ Plant
Physiology/ Botany (physiology
specialization).

Desirable: Experience in working with
field crops, handling instruments like
root imaging, tissue nutrient analysis;
data analysis and interpretation, report
writing.
Research experience as evident
from published papers in standard
referred journals with Impact Factor.
2. Junior Research

Biochemistry/ Genetics & Plant
Breeding/Agronomy/Life Sciences

in relevant Professional courses.
Desirable: Experience in working with
field crops, hydroponics, data analysis
and interpretation, report writing.
Expertise in MS-Office.
3. Field Assistants Two Rs. 15,000/- consolidated
p.m.
Essential:
12th standard pass with two years of
working experience in the rice/wheat
field, sowing, harvesting and other
intercultural operations.
Desirable: Experience of data entry
