Applications along with bio-data in prescribed format are invited for a position of Research Associate under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India sponsored research project “Quantitative assessment and mapping of the diversity of wild bees and honey bees of Northeast India” of the major project “Bioresource and Sustainable Livelihood in North East India”, under the guidance of the Dr. Hiren Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh, Mobile No-9957285547, Email: hirengogoi2007@yahoo.co.in. 

Educational Qualification: M.Sc. [Zoology/Entomology/Life Sciences (with specialization in Zoology)] with Ph.D. in relevant discipline. Expertise in bee morpho-taxonomy, molecular taxonomy and insect ecology preferred. 

Monthly fellowship: As per guideline of DBT. 

Upper age limit: The applicants should preferably be below the age of 40 years. 

Remaining duration of the project: 1 year. 

No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for attending interview. A set of copies of educational qualifications, certificate/mark sheets (class X onwards), age proof certificate, residential /nationality proof, research experience certificates, 2 (two) passport size photograph should be enclosed with the application and send to Dr. Hiren Gogoi, Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh-791112, Arunachal Pradesh so as to reach within 10 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
