Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Junior Research
Fellow (JRF) in a DST - SYST funded project entitled "In-situ diagnosis and digital cataloging of
plant-pathogenic fungi through Foldscope Microscopy - A frugal science approach" at ICAR - National
Institute of Biotic Stress Management, Baronda, Raipur, Chhattisgarh on purely contractual basis.
The eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format (refer Annexure - I) to

PDF file. After screening the applications, only short listed candidates based on their academic,
research experience will be informed by email/mobile or displayed in the ICAR-NIBSM website.
The interview will be conducted ONLINE through Zoom/Skype on 02-11-2020 from 11.00 AM
onwards. All the original documents will be verified at the time of joining, if selected.

Essential
Qualification
M.Sc.in Agricultural Microbiology / Plant Pathology with NET or
GATE or National level Examinations conducted by Central Government
Department and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE,
DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER etc.as per DST
JRF recruitment guidelines.
Desirable
Qualification
Working knowledge/experience in fungal pathology,plant disease
diagnosis, culturing, microscopic studies, and other basic experimentation
related to plant pathological and microbial research.
Candidates who
published research papersin high Impact Factor journals with first division
academics excellencewill be preferred.
Remuneration JRF @ Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (8 %) per month for 1st and 2nd year and, Rs.
35,000/- + HRA (8 %) per month for 3rd year if upgraded as SRF
Age limit Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women (age up to 5 years for
SC/ST, 3 years for OBC & 10 years for PH candidates available as per
DST and GoI norms).
