An interview will be organized on a pre-declared date in November, 2020, 12 noon (Date will be intimated) through Online Platform for selection of the Full time, Faculty positions (Contractual/Tenure base) for the School of Biological Sciences (in the Department of Biotechnology & Department of Bioinformatics), at MAKAUT, WB. 

1. Job Description: Teaching in classroom and online at UG (B.Sc) & PG (M.Tech / M.Sc) levels of the respective departments and R &D program with R & D; new program/course development. 

2. Essential Qualification & Specialization:, 

i) MTech / Master’s Degree with PhD in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Biochemical Engineering / Bioprocess Engineering with special emphasis on Bioprocess Technology / Downstream Processing in Biotechnology / Fermentation Technology / Bioreactor Design & Operations ; 
ii) M.Sc./ M.Tech. with PhD in Biotechnology / allied subjects in Biology / Bioinformatics /Natural Sc; 
iii) M.Sc. with PhD in Biotechnology / allied subjects in Biology with special emphasis on Biochemistry / Biophysics / Genomics / Proteomics/ Molecular Biology / Microbiology / Genetics / Immunology / Cell Biology. Having expertise in both wet labs and dry labs in all three categories
