Senior Research Fellow (01 Post) 

“Estimation of national carbon stocks under perennial fruit orchards” 

Rs. 31,000/-PM + HRA for 1st two years & Rs.35,000/- PM+HRA for 3rd year 

Up To31.08.2023 

Essential: Ph.D/M.Sc Soil Science. Desirable: Experience of working on projects related to Carbon Sequestration. 

Experience: Atleast two years experience in area of carbon sequestration.

Essential: Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Life Sciences / Plant Pathology with 4years Bachelor Degree OR 
Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry / Life Sciences with NET/GATE qualification & 2 years experience in the area of “Molecular Biology /Plant Biotechnology”. 

Experience: Working experiences in Molecular Biology techniques, DNA cloning in particular and Genome editing technology for control of plant viruses, tissue culture & transformation.

M.Sc.(Ag) Biochemistry (or) M.Sc. virology or M.Sc. (Ag) Microblogy (or) M.Sc. Biotechnology with 60% and above marks at M.Sc. level. 

Desirable: 

1. Practical Experience in Handling Plant viruses and diagnostics.
2. Practical Experience in handling DNA, RNA and Protein expression and Sequences analysis 
3. Knowledge and experience in usage of computers, database, bioinformatics, MS office and statistical analysis.
