Advertisement for the post of Project Associate-I in DST-Special call on Science and Technology for Yoga and Meditation (SATYAM) funded project

School of Life Sciences, B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai invites applications from motivated and eligible candidates to work as a Project Associate-I to fulfill the objectives of a DST funded research project entitled " An evaluation of selected YOGA MODULE in lung inflammation due to Acute Lower Respiratory Tract Infection (ALRI) - A randomized controlled Pilot study". The aim of the project is to evaluate the efficacy of selected YOGA MODULE and assess the recovery of lung inflammation due to Acute Lower Respiratory Infections by quantitating immune response biomarkers 

Fellowship: Rs. 31,000 + HRA (as per rules) 

Duration of appointment: 12 months (co-terminus with the project) 

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Life Sciences/ MVSc or bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent 

Age limit: 35 years.

Interested candidates fulfilling the essential qualification outlined above should report for the selection process on January 11, 2021. Candidate is expected to present the previous research work carried out for 10 minutes followed by 5 minutes discussion. Important: The appointment is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. No TA & DA will be paid for attending the interview. Mere fulfillment of the essential qualifications does not entitle the selection. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the advertized post if the candidates are not found suitable for the post.
