Interested eligible candidates are requested to appear before a selection committee on
Google Meet on 8.3.2021 for recruitment of one JRF for the project funded by the Science &
Engineering Research Board (SERB) Govt. of India, entitled “FTIR based ultrafast detection
and quantitative assessment of COVID-19 viral load” (File No IPA/2020/000292) under Dr
Sanghamitra Sengupta, Department of Biochemistry, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road Kolkata700019, University of Calcutta.
Qualification required: First Class M. Sc in any branches of Life-Sciences with NET (JRF/LS) or
GATE or similar qualifications.
Preference will be given to candidates having previous
laboratory experience in the fields molecular biology and biophysics (spectroscopy).
Duration of the project will initially be for a year. Age limit and the fellowship will be as per
the rules of the funding agency and University of Calcutta.
Candidates are requested to mail the complete applications furnishing a brief Bio-data with
