Walk-in-Interview for the post of Project Fellow Eligible candidates for the temporary position of Project Fellow to work in the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA2.0) sponsored thematic research project “Component 10: Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement”– Biological Sciences under the supervision of Dr. P. Malliga, Professor, Department of Marine Biotechnology, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli -620024. 

Name of the Post : Project Fellow 

Title of the Project : “Bioremediation of tannery sludge using microbial consortium with coir pith for preparation and application of compost on plants” 

Area of work : Bioremediation 

Duration : 2 Years

The position is purely temporary, with an initial appointment for one year and extendable to one additional year. The position is co-terminus with the project. 

Qualifications : Project Fellow: The candidate should have M.Sc /M.Phil degree (Marine Biotechnology, Marine Science, Environmental Science, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology and Biochemistry) with minimum of 60% marks/CGPA 6.1 

Desired: Experience in field work 

Age Limit : Project Fellow: Upper age limit 28 years (Relaxation: 5years for SC/ ST) Fellowship : 

Project Fellow -Rs.14,000/-pm (consolidated) 

Walk-in-Interview Date : 29.11.2021 at 11.00 am 

The selected cantididates in the case of PROJECT FELLOW should apply for the regular Ph.D program Bharathidasan University, Tiruchiraplli-24 Highly qualified and interested candidates are invited to attend Walk-in-Interview with filled in application, age proof, academic credentials, mark statements, two references etc with originals and photocopies of all certificates.
