NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up the post of “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for the DBT funded Project entitled “Insights into the function of membrane protein trafficking from the crystal structure of the human tubby-like protein, TULP3: A key player in neuronal development” under Dr. B. Padmanabhan, Professor & Principal Investigator, Department of Biophysics.

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of Posts: Two

Educational Qualifications Postgraduate in Bioph Postgraduate in Biophysics / Biotechnology / Biomedical Science / Life Sciences with CSIR-NET, GATE, or equivalent

Experience: Applicant should have substantial experience in 

 molecular biology and protein biochemistry involving cloning, protein expression & purification, and biochemical studies
 Structural Bioinformatics
 Experience in protein crystallography is preferable but not mandatory

Desirable: One or two years of research experience in the

relevant field,
Age limit: 28 Years

Salary: (i) Rs.31,000 + 27% HRA who are qualified CSIR-NET, GATE, or equivalent.

(ii) Rs.25,000 + 27% HRA for others who do not fall under (i)
