Essential Qualification 

Junior Research Fellow 

Post graduate degree in Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering/Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology OR Graduate Degree / Post Graduate Degree in Professional course in Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering/Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology 

The candidates should have cleared any one of the following: 

1. CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)/GATE qualification 

2. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.) 

Research Associate (RA-II) 

Ph.D degree in Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering/Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology OR having 3 years of research experience after Post Graduate Degree in Professional course (MFSc, MTech, MVSc) in Biotechnology/Genetic Engineering/Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal 

Desirable Candidates having working knowledge in molecular biology/Bioinformatics techniques will be preferred 

Emoluments 

Junior Research Fellow Rs.31,000/+ HRA per month 

Research Associate (RA-II) Rs.49,000/+ HRA per month 

Age Limit

Junior Research Fellow Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview. Age limits are relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per rules. 

Research Associate Maximum 45 years as on date of interview. Age limits are relaxable for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per rules.
