Online Interview 

Applications are invited to attend Online Interview (through video conferencing) for Project Associate-I and Skilled Helper posts in SERB- and DBT-funded projects, purely on contractual/ temporary basis will be held at Division of Genetics, ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi-110012. The eligible candidates interested in online interview are requested to send their application in the enclosed proforma along with the self-attested scanned copies of the original documents in single PDF file to the email address vignesh.m@icar.gov.in on or before 13.12.2023 05.00 pm. After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will be informed about the details of online interview (Date and Time) by email. Original documents will be verified at the time of appointment. If any candidate is found to have submitted false claims at later stage, their candidature will be summarily rejected. The details of the posts are as follows: 

1. DST funded project on “Genetic variation for lipoxygenase activity and molecular characterization of LOX3 gene for reducing rancidity in high oil maize” 

Project Associate-I One 

Rs. 31,000 per month +24% HRA for 1 st & 2nd year and Rs. 35,000 + 24% per month HRA for 3rd year 

Essential Qualification: Master degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or allied subjects from recognized university or equivalent. 

Desirable: Research experience in maize breeding and application of molecular markers 

2. DBT funded project on “Tailoring plant architecture for enhancement of baby corn yield through markerassisted selection of liguleless1 (lg1) gene” 

Project Associate-I One 

Rs. 31,000 + 24% HRA per month 

Essential Qualification: Master degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or allied subjects from recognized university or equivalent. 

Desirable: Research experience in maize breeding and application of molecular markers
