ICRNEH Microbiology Project Walk IN

Eligible candidates are invited to appear in the “Walk-in-interview” for the contractual post of One Young Professional-I (YP-I) under Plant Pathology Section, Division of Crop Science at ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region as mentioned below to be held (tentatively) on 20 th February, 2024 at 11:00 AM in HOD's Chamber, DCS of our Institute at Umiam. The eligible candidates are requested to bring their application in the enclosed proforma along with photo copy of the original documents on the date of interview. Original documents of the candidates appearing for interview will be verified on the date of interview. 

Essential Qualification* 

Graduation in Microbiology/ B.Sc. (Agriculture) /B.Sc. (Horticulture) 

Desirable 

Experience in microbial and molecular works. Survey, soil microbial and plant symptoms analysis. Taking data in field and orchard. 

Age limit 45 years with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per GOI or ICAR Norms 

Emoluments 30,000/- per month (fixed consolidated) 

*Eligibility criteria for the post of YP-I as per ICAR Office Memorandum F.No. Agril. Edn. I-06/2020-A&P dated 04/12/2020 

Terms and Conditions 

 Place of posting shall be at Complex Hqs., Umiam 

 No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview. 

 Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility like age, qualification etc. before appearing for the interview 

 The post is purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project/organization without any provision for regularization.  

 Candidate need to bring an application in the enclosed proforma with, addressed to the Director, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam-793103, Meghalaya enclosing photo copies of marksheets, certificates and relevant documents duly attested. A recent passport size photograph should also be affixed on the top of the application. 

 The Director/HOD/PI reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview without assigning any reason thereof which shall be notified on the Institute website. 

 Engagement of YP will be subject to relevant rules and guidelines of ICAR
