Panjab University JRF Vacancy on Anti Cancer Compounds


Applications are invited for one JRF in DST-SERB sponsored project with details given below: 

Project Title: “Isolation, structural characterization and evaluation of anti-cancer potential of selected plant lectins” 

Principal Investigator: Prof. Desh Deepak Singh, Biotechnology Department, Panjab University, BMS Block-I, Sector-25, Chandigarh Email: ddsingh@pu.ac.in 

Position: Junior research fellow (JRF) one post, 

Salary: INR 37,000/- plus HRA as admissible 

Duration: The appointment will be initially made for a period of one year, but the tenure is extendable up to 3 years. The selected candidate will have to join immediately. 

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences / M Pharm or related disciplines. 

The candidate should have qualified CSIR/UGC JRF / LS or any other National Eligibility test with a valid certificate. 

Age Limit: The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years. 

Age relaxation: (SC/ST/OBC and differently able candidates will be entitled for the relaxation in age limit as per the government norms).

Note 1: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
