Walk-in-interview for engagement of Project Staff under Projects

The Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (IITR), established in 1965, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) engaged in the Research & Development in the areas of Environmental Toxicology, Predictive Toxicology, Health Risk Assessment, Preventive Toxicology, Inhalation Toxicology, Analytical Toxicology, and also National S&T Missions. 

IITR has two campuses; the main campus is located at the centre of Lucknow City and the other campus at a distance of approx. 20 km from the main campus. Eligible and interested candidates may attend the interview for purely temporary engagement as Project Staff under CSIR/externally funded Projects tenable at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology research, Lucknow.

2. Senior Project Assistant GAP-450 (01) 

Essential Qualification M.Sc. in any branch of life science 

Desirable Qualification: Experience in animal & human research & experiment work. Work involves handling and experimentation using animal & human research samples. Will involve cellular and molecular work and whole genome analysis. 

30,600/-pm fixed. 35 years 

GAP-450 “Targeting epigenetic modulation of E2H2 and SGLT to mitigate renal toxicity and progression of chronic kidney disease.” 

3. Project Technical Support-III: GAP-447 (02) 

Essential Qualification M.Sc./M.Tech. degree in Biotechnology/Toxicolo gy/Biochemistry/Biological Science/Life Sciences /Microbiology/Neurosciences from a recognized university. 

Desirable Qualification Desirable experience of rodent,handling,mammal ian cell culture, western blotting, Real-Time PCR, Microscopy etc. 

To carry out the experimental neural stem cell culture and animal studies as proposed in the project.

5. Project Associate I GAP-438 (01) 

Essential Qualification: (i)Master’s Degree in Zoology/Biotechnology/ Microbiology or Biochemistry/Life science from a recognized University or equivalent. 

Desirable Qualification: At least 60% marks at the qualifying degree level. To carry out the safety/toxicity studies under the regulatory framework. 

Rs.31,000/-+ HRA (18% of fellowship) per month (Clause No.1: If a candidate is qualified for CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Department and them Agencies and Institutions) Rs.25,000/-+HRA (18% of fellowship) per month (For candidate who do not fall under Clause No.1)

6. Project Associate-II GAP-436 (01) 

Essential Qualification: (i) Master degree in Biotechnology/Microbiol ogy/Zoology/Life Sciences from a recognized University or Equivalent And 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organization and Scientific activities and services 

Desirable Qualification: The preference will be given to personnel with Research/working experience in regulatory frame works and experience handling small laboratory animals, etc. Toxicity Profile of Rasamanikya Rasa in Experimental Animals. 

Rs.35,000/-+ HRA (18% of fellowship) per month (Clause No.1: If a candidate is qualified for CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship or GATE or National level examinations conducted by Central Government Department and them Agencies and Institutions) Rs.28,000/-+HRA (18% of fellowship) per month (For candidate who do not fall under Clause No.1)

7. Senior Project Associate SSP-451 (01) 

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Environmental Science from a recognized university or equivalent. And Four years’ experience in Research and Development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services. 

To collect the samples of environmental things and analysis of samples.

08. Senior Project Associate HCP52-1/1 (01) 

Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Natural Agriculture Science/MV Sc or bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology or medicine from a recognized University or equivalent. And Four years’ experience in Research and Development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and technology organizations and scientific activities and services OR 
Doctoral Degree in Experience in biosensors/analytical methods development 

42000/-+ HRA
