Walk-in interview on September 3, 2024 to work as Project Assistant in a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT)
IISER Mohali (Department of Biological Sciences) desires to recruit a Project Assistant in the project entitled “Exploring the Role of PEP-PEPR Signaling in Shaping Plant Growth and Development under Iron Deficiency”
Duration: 1 year (extendable after review)
Essential Qualifications: B.Sc./M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Life Sciences (preferably in Plant Molecular Biology, Botany or Plant Biotechnology) with minimum 60% marks.
Prior research experience of at least 6 months in performing all of following techniques: Plant tissue culture, Cloning, Agrobacterium-Mediated Plant Transformation will be preferred.
Emoluments: Emoluments as per DBT norms and as sanctioned in the project.
Walk-in-interview date: September 3, 2024 at 2:30 PM
Venue: Office: 3F8, Academic block – 2, IISER Mohali.
All the applicants willing to appear for a walk-in interview are requested to bring a detailed bio-data (two copies), educational testimonials from class 10th onwards, proof of date of birth, proof of experience (if any) e.g., summaries of projects done and experience certificate of previous projects, and certificate of qualifying national test like CSIR-UGC-DBT NET / GATE etc (if any).
