The candidates with only Master’s degree must have three years
of research, teaching, and design and development experience
with at least one research paper in SCI journal.
Desirable Qualifications Research experience in plant molecular biology, gene cloning,
plant transformation, tissue culture, wet lab work.
Emoluments Fixed per
month (Rs.)
Rs. 30000/- (consolidated) for each position
Essential Qualifications B.Sc./B.Tech/ Diploma holders in Botany/Molecular
Biology/Biochemistry/ Life Science/ Genetics/Plant Breeding/Plant

project, whichever is earlier. Extendable further based on the
performance of fellow.

Essential Qualifications Post graduate degree in Basic Science (Life
Sciences/Bioinformatics) or Post Graduate degree in
professional courses (Life Sciences including Agricultural
Sciences) selected through a process described in any one of the
following.
1. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility
Test CSIR, UGC-NET including lectureship (Assistant
professorship) and GATE.
2. The selection process through national level exam
conducted by Central government departments and
their agencies and institute such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,
DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
Desirable Qualifications Working experience in Molecular Biology techniques,
Bioinformatics tools, Plant Tissue Culture, and genetic
transformation with supporting publications.
