Applications are invited for the one post of Junior Research Fellow with a fellowship amount of Rs.37,000/-
+HRA in a Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)-sponsored project entitled "Biochemical and
functional characterization of molecular crosstalk and synthesis of extracellular polymers (EPS) for
adaptive fitness of cyanobacteria under dynamic environmental stress" (Code no. P-07/1335) sanctioned
for duration of three year. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Essential Qualification: The candidates should be M.Sc. degree in Botany/Applied
Microbiology/Environmental Science/Biotechnology with at least 55 % marks and above. Candidate must
have qualified NET or GATE examination.
The upper Age Limit is 28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for
SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be
preferred as per GOI rules. Candidates with experience of research in the area of the prpject will be preferred.
Desirable qualifications: The candidates with experience in phycology, molecular biology, biopolymer
research, biochemical tools and techniques or related field will be preferred.
