format (Form B) for the following position in the research project “Centre for translational research and
training on endocrine pancreas and Type 2 diabetes in India”

(4) Tenure of the Post 2 year (can be extended for further period subject to review)
(5) Job description
To undertake proposed research involving data analysis,
computational modeling and programming (R/Python /Matlab)
for the clinical data on diabetes
(5) Essential Qualifications
M.Tech/ MSc in Bioinformatics/ Computational Biology/ Systems
Biology/ Biotechnology OR B.Tech/ M.Tech Computer science/
AI and data science/ Biochemical / Chemical engineering with
minimum 55% marks and qualified NET/GATE
(6) Desirable Qualifications Experience in data analysis (Biostatistics and AI/ML), computer
programming and mathematical modeling is desirable
(7) Experience 1 - 2 years
(8) Age Limit Less than 30 years
(1) Applicants should note that the appointments to be made are purely temporary and they have no right
for claiming for any regular appointment in the University.
(2) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or at the time of joining.
(3) Self-Attested copies of all certificates in support of the information furnished in the application

(8) Applicants who are waiting for their provisional degree certificate may also apply. However, at the time
of interview they have to show the proof of completion of their degree by showing their provisional/degree
certificate.
(9) Age relaxation is applicable for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC as per Government
guidelines/rules. Candidates need to enclose the valid certificates along with their application, in the format
