Applications are invited for walk-in interview on 17.02.2026 for filling of one post of YP-I and
one post of Field Assistant under "JIPMP in Collaborative Research Projects on Isabgol".
Young professional-I (01 Post)
Rs.35000/- fixed
Bachler's Degree in Agriculture
Post qualification experience in agricultural research particularly in the
area of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Plant Pathology or Soil
Microbiology.
Excellent English language skills in scientific writing,
excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others.
Excellent knowledge of isolation, enumeration and preservation of
bacteria, and fungi and molecular microbial taxonomy.
Working
knowledge of Genomic DNA extraction, Gel electrophoresis.
Knowledge of handling Gel electrophoresis, PCR etc.
The minimum age under Young Professional category will be 21 years
and maximum
35 years with relaxation as per rules.
Field Assistant (01 Post)
Rs.15000/- fixed
Graduate in Science (Biology/Microbiology/Biotechnology)
The upper age for Field Assistant shall be 35 years as on the date of
walk-in-interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/Women and OBC candidates
as per rules).
For position of YP, at least five applicants shall be shortlisted based on
their qualifying academic performance as per an assessment criterion.
These shortlisted candidates will undergo a panel interview.
Necessary, written tests and assignments may also be conducted before
the panel interview. In case of tie at any stage all the candidates who
have same marks will be considered to have qualified for further
rounds.
