Microbiology Laboratory Analyst

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing microbiological testing, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in a pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, and water samples
Perform tests like microbial limit test, sterility test, and environmental monitoring
Maintain aseptic conditions and follow GMP/GLP guidelines
Prepare culture media and maintain microbial cultures
Record and analyze test results accurately
Handle lab instruments like autoclave, incubator, laminar airflow, etc.
Ensure cleanliness and proper documentation of the lab Assist in audits and regulatory inspections
Required Qualifications:
B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology or related field 1–3 years of relevant experience (preferred)
Skills Required: Knowledge of microbiological techniques Understanding of GMP, GLP, and documentation practices Attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting)
