ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF)
FOR AFMRC PROJECT 5768A/2025
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for engagement as SRF on an ad-hoc contractual basis for AFMRC Project entitled “Daily versus Alternate day Oral Iron supplementation in Children between 6-59 months age with Iron Deficiency Anaemia: Randomized Controlled Multi-Centric Study”
Minimum qualification: M.Sc. in biomedical sciences
Experience Required: 2 yr experience as JRF, Knowledge of carrying out questionnaire-based data collection, handling of collected blood samples and data entry in excel.
Job Description
1. Technical expertise in questionnaire-based data collection of cases.
2. Data updation into a clinical database module for the AFMRC project inclusive of collection, data input and updation of all recruited case related data accrued in hard copies and generation of soft copies of same.
3. Maintenance of consent forms of recruited cases, investigator certificates and generation of soft electronic copies of same.
4. Application of biostatistics as specified in the project protocol
5. Data entry for cases, computerization of project protocols and assisting in storage of samples pertaining to project.
Job Specification
1. Education: M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences
2. Experience: Min 2 years as junior research fellow
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Communication skills: must be able to communicate effectively with medical professionals and other stakeholders.
5. Knowledge of medical terminology: must have a strong understanding of medical terminology.
6. Experience with software and tools: must be proficient in using data entry software and tools of biostatistics.
Salary: INR 42,000 consolidated per month (inclusive of HRA)
