Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow/Project Associate-I on a purely temporary
basis to work under the ANRF funded Advanced Research Grant (ARG) project “Development of an
Integrated High-Gravity Lignocellulosic Biorefinery for Ethanol Production Using Multi-Stress
Tolerant Yeasts and Co-Product Valorization via Circular Bioeconomy Approaches”.
The details of
the post are as follows:
Name of Post Junior Research Fellow / Project Associate-I (One post)
Tenure of the Post One year from the date of appointment on contract basis, with a possibility of
extension, subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
Essential
Qualification
M.Sc. Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Sciences or PG in Professional course in
relevant subjects or equivalent from recognised Institutes.
Preference will be given
to the candidates having CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (LS) and/or
GATE or equivalent.
Consolidated
salary/Fellowship
Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month for CSIR-UGC NET or NET or GATE qualified
Rs. 30,000/- + HRA per month for others
Desirable
Qualification
Research experience in lignocellulosic biotechnology, biorefinery, enzyme
technology, molecular biology, fermentation technology and prior knowledge of
AI/ML is desirable.
Candidates with strong research motivation and publications will be given
preference.

Note:
1. Candidates must bring the following at the time of interview: One hard copy of PDF application
submitted via email having self-attested copies of relevant supporting documents, All original certificates
and documents, and a recent coloured passport-size photograph.
2. The above post is purely temporary for
the above sanctioned project and duration.
3. TA/DA or any other allowances will not be paid for attending
the interview.
4. Fellowship may be cancelled at any time in case of any misconduct, unsatisfactory research
work, or if the project personnel is found ineligible later.
5. The rules and regulations of CUH and/or the
funding agency will be applicable on the selected candidate.
